If you are already an IATSE member through another local and wish to transfer your membership to Local 205, the 18 months residency rule does not apply to you.

To transfer your membership, contact your local's secretary and request a transfer. Please note, you must be in good standing with your local.

1. The applicant must get a transfer card from their home Local.  Once we receive a transfer card from your home local, we will contact you with further information.
2. To apply as a Junior member, the application process is the same as above. 
3. To apply as a Journeyman member, the application process is the same as above. The requirements may be waived, and a transfer given full Journeyman status upon proof of full (not apprentice or junior) membership with the International.
